Handwritten letter on lined paper dated 26-2-88 with a stamped address label in the top right corner reading '38 Knowlton House Cowley Road LONDON SW9 6HJ'. The letter reads: 'Dear comrade, Can you please send me further information about + any publicity material available for the Campaign. Thanks a lot. T. Chambers T. CHAMBERS.'

Signed in blue ink by Geraldine Chinn with a handwritten flourish. A postscript asks if anything is happening before April 8th and requests to be informed.

The letter is addressed to 'Campaigners' and states the writer is a secondary school teacher concerned about Clause 28. The writer requests details and price lists for badges, posters, etc., encloses a SAE for reply, and signs as Ms. A. Brakey.

The letter addresses a March issue of Spare Rib, mentions Clause 28, and requests permission to put up posters at a Birmingham city school. The handwriting is cursive and slightly difficult to read.

The letter is addressed to Madam/Sir and references an article 'Stopping The Clause' by Sarah Roelofs in SR no. 188 March 1988. The writer, Kate Coleman, expresses uncertainty about being gay but finds Clause 28 disgusting and asks for information, badges, posters, leaflets, briefing packs, and meeting details mentioned in SR no. 188. The letter ends with 'Yours hoping for gay freedom,' and a P.S. stating Kate is a friend of Paul Pedro who works on Tuesday evenings.
Handwritten letter dated 8.3.88 from 17, Beaufort Road, Lincoln, addressed to an unknown recipient. The writer, V. Williamson, responds to an article about Clause 28 in 'Spare Rib,' mentions belonging to a Gay Women's Group in Lincoln, and requests more information such as leaflets and badges. The letter ends with thanks, a wish for success with the campaign, and a note about an enclosed stamped addressed envelope. The writer's name Ms. V. Williamson and a note 'INFO Sent 11/3/88' are at the bottom.
Handwritten letter addressed to Ms LA Hurley at 64 Garden Walk, Cambridge, dated 5.3.88, requesting details of the Day of Action, information on local groups, and posters, signed Loretta, with a handwritten note dated 12/3/88.
Typed letter dated 3 March 1988 from Sue Bell and Val Lane in Alton, addressing campaigners. They introduce themselves as two gay women living in Alton and ask for details of meetings, mentioning London is an hour away by train. They inquire if action will continue if the Local Government Bill becomes law and request any information or communication.
